Peyton Edelson Associate

Peyton Edelson is an associate attorney with Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery. She practices in the area of family law, focusing on divorce and custody. Peyton enjoys helping her clients navigate their legal issues as efficiently and amicably as possible. She prioritizes the best interests of her clients and their families.

Growing up, Peyton always knew she was going to be an attorney. Her mother was a criminal law attorney, and at first, Peyton pursued internships in criminal law, working for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit’s Office of the Public Defender and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. It was during her internship at the Mecklenburg County (NC) District Attorney’s Office Special Victims Team that she discovered her passion for family law and gained invaluable advocacy skills. During her internship with the District Attorney’s office, Peyton conducted trials under the 3L Practice Rule, often working with domestic violence victims and their children. She learned about the civil aspects of family law, such as custody arrangements and protective orders, and developed a keen understanding of the circumstances that can impact families.

Peyton graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a double major in political science and sociology. She earned her law degree from the Tulane University School of Law, where she served as senior managing editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law, secretary of the Jewish Law Student Association and was admitted to the Pro Bono Krewe for completing more than 150 pro bono hours.

Peyton joined Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery as a law clerk. After passing the Georgia Bar Exam, she began practicing at the firm as an associate attorney.

Outside of the office, Peyton loves to bake – one of her best recipes is challah – and she enjoys checking out local antique stores and estate sales. She is also an avid traveler and recently took a bucket list trip to Japan.
