Tina Shadix Roddenbery Partner
Tina Shadix Roddenbery brings more than 30 years of family law experience, including divorce, custody, support modification, legitimation, paternity and contempt, and is one of only a handful of National Board of Trial Advocacy board certified family law attorneys in the state of Georgia. The firm’s name has changed to Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery to reflect her leadership.
Well-respected by her peers, Tina received the 2015 Joseph T. Tuggle Award from the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia for exemplary professionalism. Within the State Bar of Georgia, she served as 2009-2010 Chair of the Family Law Section, has sat on the State Bar Board of Governors since 1995, and is a past president of the Younger Lawyers Division. Tina is a master in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court. Most recently, she was accepted as an International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) Fellow.
Tina is one of only 32 fellows and is president of the Georgia chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has served as president of the board of directors for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and on the advisory board of Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Previously, Tina served on the board of trustees of the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education (ICJE) for a six-year tenure.
She has been interviewed by CNN and other broadcast, internet and print media regarding family law issues. In addition to trial experience, she has extensive expertise in resolving cases by mediation and settlement, having mediated hundreds of cases on behalf of clients. She is also a fully-trained mediator and late-case evaluator.
Active in the community, Tina currently serves on Trinity School’s board of trustees.
